Raised in an average neighborhood she excelled in school and college. Apryl's talent became evident at the age of just five and her love for music pushed her toward the goals she set. Apryl was a part of the vocal group and it was the catalyst towards a fresh start. Apryl decided to abandon her academic pursuits to pursue the music industry. Apryl knew she was bound to be successful. Apryl eventually got her hands in the world of music after moving to a new city and taking part in numerous competitions. Apryl began her career as medical examiner, student but then pursued her musical career. Slowly, she discovered her talent and joined a local girl group named Callareign. She then appeared in American Idol, but failed to make it to the top. Apryl had also auditioned to join Making the Band. However this did not work out smoothly for her. She later met with a famous singer and was invited to tour as backup vocalist. They became involved, and decided to star in the Vh1 popular TV show Hollywood becoming one of the show's original eight members of the cast. Omarion Was on tour at the time of recording the reunion episode from season two, was not with Apryl.
