Anna Leigh Ashford

Annaleigh Amanda Ashford (born April 14 1988) was an American actor, singer as well as a dancer. She started her Broadway career with musicals such as Wicked, Legally Blonde, as well as Hair. The role she played in You Can't Take It With You as Essie Carmahiel was rewarded with the Tony Award in Best Featured Female Actor in the Play. Ashford's latest performance was Paula Jones on Ryan Murphy FX's American Crime Story Impeachment. It is based upon the National scandal that featured Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky, as well as Linda Tripp. Two seasons ago, Ashford played a prominent role in CBS's hit comedy B Positive. It was produced by Chuck Lorre with Marco Pennette. It featured Linda lavin, Hector Elizondo, as well as Ben Vereen. Ashford is no stranger to Broadway.
