Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland, Reykjavik. She is a CrossFit pro-athlete. She's also a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie became the very first woman ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. She became famous for becoming the first woman to have taken home the two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, and in 2017 she took home in the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. Annie was an avid sportsperson and started working out at an early age. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit competitions in California where she performed relatively good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 years old older (as at 2021). She is 5' 7 tall, and weighs approximately 67 kg. Annie began CrossFit in California, in 2009. At the beginning of her competition, she was very successful and placed in first 10 of the 70 competitors. While she did not win any of the titles however she was able to finish in the 11th spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's coaching she won the gold medal at the CrossFit Games. Following that, she participated again in CrossFit competitions and due to her impressive performance, she took home the games as the very first woman to take home a trophy at CrossFit Games. Annie became the very first woman who has ever won successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. Additionally, in 2014 Annie received a Silver medal and most recently, in 2021 she took home a Bronze Medal in the CrossFit Games. Annie coaches and train in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie was a well-known athlete after gaining recognition. She has been associated on behalf of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydrolysis Sidekick Yerbae among others. She also has her own Youtube channel named "Annie" and has more than 1000 subscribers. It is the channel where she uploads videos about eating habits, parenting and traveling.
